We’re looking for a proactive, organized Legal Assistant to support our clients attorneys and paralegals while working on meaningful real estate transactions that impact our community. This is located in a beautiful office located in downtown Rochester, pay is up to $30 hourly, and they offer $50 monthly towards the cost of parking.

What You’ll Do:
- Draft legal documents, forms, and correspondence for attorney review, tracking multiple versions efficiently.
- Conduct research to obtain surveys, abstracts, title commitments, tax receipts, and zoning reports.
- Open and manage client matters, coordinating with finance on billing and project budgets.
- Compile closing binders, organize exhibits, and maintain accurate property files.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing wires and ensure smooth project workflows.
- Maintain client matter logs, track deadlines, and support business development follow-ups.
- Prepare monthly reports and keep projects updated with attorney-provided information.
- Interface with clients through phone, email, and in-person communication, responding promptly to inquiries.
- Collaborate with title examiners on title insurance commitments and final policies.
- Ensure all legal descriptions and property documents are precise and complete.
- Support administrative needs including calendar management, document organization, time entry, and billing.
