Data Entry Specialist

We have a terrific 4-6 month contract assignment with a local health insurance provider. These positions are on site with the hours of 8:30-5:00 Mon through Friday. You will be assisting with a backlog of work and helping administratively within the Provider team. To qualify, you must have strong data entry skills, be detail oriented, and provide accuracy.  Previous experience in the medical field is a plus! These positions are located in the city of Rochester and parking is provided. This is a great opportunity to work with a terrific organization. The projected start date is 1/5/2026.

You will assist provider enrollment by collecting and entering data into databases. Provider enrollment is the process of applying to health insurance networks for inclusion in their provider panels. Successfully enrolling allows providers to bill patients' insurance for services and be included in a provider network. Previous data entry experience is a must!  Excellent data entry skills, attention to detail and accuracy along with strong computer skills are required.

• High School Diploma

• Minimum 1 yr of data entry experience
• Experience in the medical field highly desired

• Keyboarding and data entry proficiency  (50 wpm, 8-10K keystrokes)
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• High attention to detail
