Description

We are currently working with a company on the east side of Rochester who is in search of a long-term contract HR Coordinator. This role is onsite, on the East side of Rochester, and pays between $28 and $32 per hour.

Responsibilities

HRIS / HCM System Administration
  • Enters and maintains employee data within the HRIS, including position changes, transfers, compensation updates, new hires, and terminations, based on approved Personnel Action Notices (PANs). Applies critical thinking to ensure data integrity and alignment with internal processes.
  • Responds to data and reporting requests from the HRIS and related systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Maintains complete and accurate HR files, including timely scanning, uploading, and electronic storage in ADP/e-files; processes timecard correction forms as required.
  • Monitors system workflows throughout the employee lifecycle—from pre-hire to termination—ensuring all processes progress as required and prompting responsible parties when needed.
Talent Process & System Administration
  • Manages new hire pre-employment screening processes, escalating to Compliance when necessary and supporting resolution while maintaining clear communication with the Talent Acquisition Specialist to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Sends clearance notifications to new hires once screening requirements are met.
  • Maintains ownership of the new hire tracker, ensuring daily updates, data accuracy, and communication of changes to appropriate team members.
Benefits Program & System Administration
  • Processes Health & Wellness Reimbursement requests, ensuring timely submission to Payroll for scheduled payment.
  • Collects, reviews, and processes reimbursement requests through the year-end cycle, ensuring accurate system updates to time-off balances and final payments in coordination with Payroll.
  • Provides system support during annual Open Enrollment, ensuring accurate setup and employee data updates within the HRIS.
  • Prepares and distributes termination letters in accordance with established procedures.
Process Documentation
  • Supports the HR team in developing, standardizing, and maintaining process documentation related to HCM implementation and ongoing change management initiatives.

Education

  • Associate degree (A.A. /A.S.) in business, human resources, or related field; and three years related experience.
  • OR Bachelor’s degree and one-year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

  • Three years of experience in data entry and management (changes, updates, hires, terminations) of HRIS, ATS and payroll systems (such as ADP, SAP, PeopleSoft, Paychex).
  • Experience managing confidential data.
  • Experience in supporting change management of HRIS systems is preferred.
