Description
We are representing a growing company that is searching for their first VP of Human Resources. This position will work with the executive team and will focus their efforts on strategic initiatives as well as providing data to suppport acitions and report success. With growth in mind, the HR function will lead ongoing talent acquisition. In addition, the VP of HR will be a cultural leader for the employees. The company's focus is SEO marketing which helps businesses increase their online visibility by optimizing websites, content, and digital strategies to rank higher in search engine results.
Responsibilities
- Own entire tech stack for HR related initiatives- ie- benefits platform, 401K, recruiting management,
hiring forecasting, and culture score/progress.
- Build and manage the HR budget, hiring budget, and performance standards.
- Lead compensation strategy and standardization for each team across entire organization.
- Lead workforce planning and talent development initiatives
- Oversee recruiting for both Operating and Non-Operating roles as needed by the business
- Maintain all HR policies for the organization within Employee Handbook, consistently updating
for new states the Company is entering
- Develop and document existing HR workflows (including but not limited to: onboarding, status
changes, terminations)
- Examine, Strategize, and Evolve the culture development of a quickly scaling company.
- Develop and scale comprehensive in-person and remote cultural development strategy
- Examine, Strategize, and Evolve training programs for all team members.
- Move the ball forward on charitable programming to reach the most team members
and community organizations
- Performs other related duties or ad hoc analyses as determined necessary.
Education
This position requires a four-year degree form a College or Univierstiy. A focus in HR - either by degree or additional credentials- i.e. SHRM certification- that has provided the proper foundation for core competencies and the compliance-related knowledge expected for the leader of a human resources department.
Experience
A minimum of 5+ years in an HR leadership role is required. Also, relevant experience in building scalable human resources processes is required as this company is preparing for significant growth.
